Verification Transparency

What we verify, how we verify it, and what a verification result does and does not mean.

This page is public by design so clerks, families, and partners can evaluate trust assumptions directly.

What verification confirms

Certificate codes resolve to a real issued record, including issuance date and revocation/standing state.
Member ID codes resolve to a real issued card record and current card lifecycle state.
Minister verification resolves to a public registry profile with status levels and latest Good Standing state.

What verification does not claim

Verification pages are not legal advice and do not replace state/county clerk requirements.
Public pages intentionally avoid exposing private profile data or personal contact details.
Verification confirms church-issued records; it does not certify government filing completion unless explicitly shown.

Lifecycle states you will see

Certificate / ID

active, pending_renewal, expiring_soon, expired, suspended/inactive, revoked

Minister standing

active, expiring soon, pending renewal, expired, revoked, inactive, unknown

Status ladder

Ordained -> Certified Officiant -> Active Officiant -> Senior Officiant

Source integrity controls

Reissued records maintain old-to-new alias history so stale links can be traced and redirected.
Revocation states are shown on public verify pages to prevent stale trust assumptions.
QR links resolve to canonical verification endpoints for direct status checks.

Daily successful result views by record type. Metrics are anonymous and exclude admin-host traffic.
